Nov. 20, 2021

KACL-NE Young Leader Symposium.
We will be holding YLS on Nov. 20, from 12-4 PM at the Four Points by Sheraton Boston Newton in the Charles Ballroom. Lunch will be provided.

For the past eight years, KACL-NE has invited AAPI leaders from around the county to speak about their experiences with the next generation of young leaders. This year's theme is going Against the Grain or 내면의 목소리를 찿아서, highlighting individuals who have paved their own paths to pursue their passions and make a difference in their communities.

We are thrilled to have three speakers on our docket for this year's YLS:

- Joseph Juhn: Korean American lawyer-turned-documentary filmmaker
- Thu Nguyen: community organizer and the first nonbinary person elected to office in Massachusetts
- Dr. Kee Park: Director of Policy and Advocacy for the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change and lecturer at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School

You can RSVP at our Eventbrite page and learn more at our website.

Attendees will have an opportunity to network with the speakers and fellow participants. We have limited seating available and recommend that interested individuals RSVP as soon as possible. Current students and recent graduates are encouraged to attend. Please share this event with your networks!

Attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination. Masks will be required except when eating or drinking. Garage parking is available at $4/hour. Please direct all questions to newenglandkacl@gmail.com.
